The company says such displays are suitable for the majority
of office, visualization, process control and presentation software
applications.
On display at CES was a 17-inch monitor (MLD 3000) that features
twin SXGA resolution LCD panels. Each panel offers 18-bit depth
color processing, with the integrated monitor offering 100 cd/m2
of brightness, 400:1 contrast, and a 16 ms response time. The
viewing cone is speced at 140H and 110V. This is available now
for $1,799.
The 19-inch MLD 4000 monitor offers the same twin SXGA resolution
with brightness of 200 cd/m2, contrast of 400:1, and full 24-bit
color processing with a 16 ms response speed. The viewing cone
is 140H by 140V. This will be available in March for $2,499.
A 7-inch model is also available for $1,000.
